** · The new model also incorporates the new HotFix feature. The new HotFix feature predicts the location of satellites, significantly increasing the lock on time. The huge 4.3-inch screen is just a dream.

** · Other new features on the new Garmin nüvi 255W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS navigator include 3D terrain maps, photo navigation, automatic time zone adjustments, and a powerful 333mhz processor for smooth image transitions.

**· The 4.3″ color screen is just the right size for a portable GPS, while the mounting system is both secure and easy to release.

**· The text-to-speech feature, which calls out street names for upcoming turns, can be really handy in congested urban areas.

**· All but the most basic GPS navigators include Points Of Interest, but this Magellan portable GPS unit indicates POI exits, a great capability that can save a lot of time and hassles, especially when you’re driving alone.
