The new generation of iPod Touch (3rd generation) has lately been launched by Apple Company. The major features of the 2nd generation iPod Touch remain unchanged, and now it comes with a couple of new features. Take a look at this new style to help you decide if it is worth to the upgrade.

We have reviewed the iPod model which is the 32GB model. Among the major specs upgrade in this 3rd generation media player is its faster processor. Its capacity is higher, where you can select to get a 8GB, 32GB or a 64GB model. There is an improvement upon the graphics capabilities

The dimensions of the new iPod Touch 32 GB remain the same, and it has size  4.3 x 2.4 x 0.33 inches in dimensions. The only different slight variation is in etchings behind the device. Other than that,  it is nearly the same to the 2nd generation device. It has the same 3.5-inch touch screen that ha a 480×320 resolution. The physical volume button on the side is also unchanged.

The main improvements can be observed  in the features of the 3rd generation iPod Touch. The Genius play-list feature has been improved. Now it has been equipped with A Genius Mixes feature to help you select a mix of songs in a play-list according to genre.

Again iPod Touch 32 GB is added with the new Voice Control feature that lets you control music playback by saying the controls out loud. What you can do is to hold the headphone remote button and speak the instructions into the microphone. You can also mention song names and the name of the artists that you wish to listen to, besides basic controls like ‘next song’ and play.

Many of the youngsters and music lover’s cannot live without mp3 player, because it has become one of the unavoidable accessory. There are a lot of kinds of MP3 Players in various ranges and prices to match everyone’s specific needs.

All MP3 players generally rely on the capacity of your player, the amount of music you can stock up on it and how much you’re ready to pay for it, and the form of storage used in it and so on. We have a few types of mp3 players such as : Flash Memory Players, Hard Drive Players, MP3 CD Players, Minidisk MP3 players, Hybrid Players.

The Flash Memory MP3 player is the smallest and lightest of all, being compared to other types of MP3 players. It is equipped with a flash type memory card as its storage media and has no moving parts. The flash memory has limited capacity compared to today’s standards and therefore it can only store less songs. It is very light and ideal for casual digital music lovers who would like to have a little  amount of music. Because of its small size, and the type memory element being a flash memory card, so it consumes very less power and  its battery can endure much longer.

Hard Drive Players are big in size, if compared to flash memory players and the storage capacity is more. It is equipped with some moving parts and as such there is some bouncing when the player moves around and it has to be managed very carefully. They are often added  with more built-in features, and they generally  consume more power and therefore frequent battery changes are needed.

There is a new variety of CD players available that could play MP3 and other digital sound files, and it is called MP3 CD Players. MP3 CD Players burn the CD R/RW discs to your old CD collection, and they are cheaper than the flash memory and hard drive memory players.

There is an improved new line of technology also known as Minidisk Walkman digital music players. All MP3 players capability has been offered by the technology companies in other consumer products such as personal assistants, DVD players and other accessories and we will have MP3 capability in many more Gadgets in the near future.
